Licensed in Marin County, California since 1980, Dian Weeks has extensive experience in buying and selling real estate as well as in its construction, management, and 1031 exchanges. She is most familiar with Marin and Sonoma counties in Northern California and with Hawaii, where she manages vacation rentals. Dian is also a well-established artist/sculptor. Having a diverse background in art and design, she can assist in staging a seller's home to show it to its best advantage. With her personal and intuitive approach, she is committed to providing attention to detail, accountability, and success at achieving her clients’ goals throughout each transaction. In addition to Dian’s wealth of local experience and network of trade resources, she calls upon the extensive team of expert advisors and marketing resources at Engel & Völkers. E&V’s reach is global, while its style is local and personal—what it calls a boutique experience. Before joining E&V, Dian worked with Prudential in San Anselmo for a few years, then Bradley Real Estate for about 10 years. Some of Dian’s avocations, in addition to interior design, are gardening, hiking, gourmet cooking, and spending time every year at her family’s Hawaiian island retreat. In1996, she received a Certificate of Recognition from California Senator Milton Marks for her work on behalf of the Marin Cultural Center and for her commitment and dedication to marine life. Dian moved to Marin County in the mid-1970s from Scottsdale, Arizona, where she grew up and later attended Northern Arizona University (Flagstaff, AZ). Her education also includes College of Marin, where she studied real estate principles as well as commercial real estate and investment. She has resided in Fairfax, California since 1978.
