I have been in the real estate business for 23 years and have come to see my work as service; I enjoy serving my clients and friends in Marin County and, occasionally, in Sonoma. I bring a high level of skill sets to the business and combine professional expertise with a very human approach. The sale or purchase of a home is a significant event in the life of a person, and it is my intention to serve on all levels to oversee that the sale goes smoothly. I ensure that all aspects are handled with expertise, current market knowledge, skill, and care. Please see my reviews on Zillow to hear first-hand. I would also be happy for you to speak to any of my past clients who can assure you that you will be in good hands. When I am not serving people in the real estate market, I like to swim and hike and meditate. I know this area well since I have lived in Fairfax and the San Geronimo Valley the majority of my years since arriving in California from Baltimore in 1972. I am a co-coordinator of the Fairfax Community Garden and also sing Alto in Marin Oratorio. I earned my Associates Arts degree at the College of Marin in the 1970s and my B.A. and my M.A. degrees in psychology from Sonoma State University in the 1980s. Afterward, I spent a year living in a monastery in Burma. When I returned from living in Asia, I sold Toyotas in San Francisco. I am presently working on a book of memoirs that documents this unusual life experience and change of cultures. I still enjoy going on retreat as a form of renewal from the stress of the marketplace. I am a serious practitioner. I love people and feel it is an honor to help people in the sale or purchase of a home. It is a challenging time and a challenging business; therefore, it is important to know and trust who you work with. I have been very successful in selling my listings recently with multiple offers. I know the market well and also know how to activate a high Internet presence, which is crucial and involves certain subtleties in the presentation. I look forward to speaking with you regarding the sale or purchase of your home, so please don't hesitate to contact me for any questions you may have. You can find me in the new Engel & Völkers office in Fairfax at 44 Bolinas Rd. (formally the Bradley Real Estate office).
